Introduction
My name is Tracy Efaw. I have completed my Master of Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA. Currently, I work as an Academic Coach at Griffin Middle School, and enjoy being a part of the Cobb County School District. I was promoted from being a classroom teacher two years ago, and am starting my third year as an Academic Coach. I credit KSU for giving me the support and experience in this program to move forward in my career, even in the midst of my Masters work! As an Academic Coach, I am able to work with both teachers and students in our collaborative efforts to increase student achievement. Because of my new-found expertise in technology, I am able to offer exciting ways to integrate technology into the fabric of everything we do! Teachers, students, and even administrators have benefited from my input, and KSU has given me the confidence, the knowledge, and the voice to make things happen at my school.
The purpose of this e-Portfolio is to provide the viewer with valuable information about what I have accomplished over the past two years. Explore some of my original thoughts and ideas about how best to embed technology into instruction with the goal of increasing student achievement through innovative technology practices. These practices involve implementing technology through the many web 2.0 internet tools, utilizing multimedia and web design to enhance the learning experience, using technology for professional learning and coaching, and even experimenting with the flipped classroom concept and "Bring Your Own Device" ideas.

Following this introduction, there is a video reflection about my learning experiences throughout my journey through the coursework. Next, you will find my professional resume outlining my work history and background experiences, as well as my job qualifications. Then you will encounter my vision for technology as it impacts education on a large scale. There is also a section on diversity, and how this coursework has opened my eyes to the many differences we all share. The largest section reviews the PSC Standards along with each element, and I have aligned some of my best coursework exemplars to illustrate my deep understanding of the standards and how they apply to technology integration in the living classroom. You will also see a list of my field experiences. These field experiences document how I have applied what I have learned in helping other people with technology inside and outside of my building. There is also an excellent blog on this e-Portfolio which reviews many of the experiences I have embraced in the program, some of my opinions about the various internet tools we have learned, and the like. Finally, the last section is my Capstone, in which I share my experiences of implementing a technology program school-wide in order to cultivate a culture in our school which embraces communication and collaboration, literacy across all content areas, and Common Core resources to assist teachers with the implementation of this new curriculum.
I hope you enjoy your exploration of the last two years of my life. I am very proud of this e-Portfolio, because it exemplifies, in no uncertain terms, my commitment to excellence and life-long learning.
